The AREX 5 Advance redefines Cheating magnetic stirrers for laboratories that demand precision, flexibility, and ease of use. 

Designed for a modern lab experience, its state-of-the-art user interface features capacitive buttons and a tempered glass control panel, ensuring seamless navigation and immediate readability from any angle.

Beyond its sleek design, the AREX 5 Advance expands your control over every aspect of your reactions. You can:

- Set temperature and stirring speed ramps;

- Optimize workflows with programmable timer functions;

- Monitor viscosity variations;

- Switch between multiple stirring modes;

- Take full advantage of versatile connectivity options. 

The AREX 5 Advance ensures exceptional thermoregulation up to 310°C, offering the highest level of control for temperature-sensitive laboratory applications.

When connected to Pt100 and Pt1000 probes, two thermoregulation modes are available:

- FAST – Fast temperature rise.

- FINE – Optimized temperature control for minimized overshoot.

The AREX 5 Advance supports ramp programming with up to 9 temperature and 9 speed steps, speeding up your process.

Additionally, the CerAlTop™ plate combines the strength and chemical resistance of ceramic with the excellent thermal conductivity of aluminum, enabling rapid and uniform heating across the entire surface.

The AREX 5 Advance features a powerful brushless motor and a strong magnetic coupling, ensuring reliable, maintenance-free stirring for volumes up to 20L (H2O).

With a 30–1700 rpm speed range, it offers precise control for gentle or vigorous stirring. SpeedServo™ maintains constant speed despite viscosity changes, while the viscosity variation indicator provides real-time feedback for accurate reaction monitoring.

Advanced stirring modes, including auto-reverse functionality, intermittent mode, and settable speed limits, make the AREX 5 Advance indispensable for demanding laboratory workflows.

The AREX 5 Advance takes laboratory efficiency to the next level with its advanced connectivity options, ensuring full control over your experiments.

- With the Velp Ermes cloud platform, you can manage your hotplate stirrer remotely from any mobile device, at any time. Just log in to configure all parameters and monitor activity in real time. 

- For laboratories preferring local data management, the CotrollerSoft^TM software is a reliable solution, enabling easy visualization of stirring and heating curves and data logging via USB connectivity to a PC.

- Experimental data can also be saved and transferred to a PC or a USB flash drive for further analysis.

Safety is a top priority in any laboratory, and the AREX 5 Advance hotplate stirrer is designed with multiple safety features, including:

- Safety lock button prevents accidental parameter changes;

- Safety checks automatically stop heating in case the external probe is not immersed or is removed from the sample;

- Over-temperature protection and safety circuits prevent overheating of the sample;

- Adjustable maximum temperature limit ensures added control;

- Countdown and count-up timer to fine-tune your workflow;

"Hot" message is displayed when the plate exceeds 50°C, even if heating is turned off.
